The Gotthard road tunnel (A2 motorway) is part of the Swiss motorway network. You will only need a valid Swiss motorway vignette (physical or digital) or a valid LSVA / PSVA. No additional extra toll is required. All major Swiss motorway tunnels are included with a valid vignette.
Some tunnels and crossings charge separate tolls, even if you have a vignette:
- Great St. Bernard Tunnel (Switzerland ↔ Italy)
- Munt la Schera Tunnel (to Livigno)
- Car transport tunnels such as Lötschberg and Vereina (these are train services, not motorways)
| Tunnel / Service | Approx. One-Way Toll (CHF/EUR) |
| Great St. Bernard Tunnel | ~ CHF 29.50 / €27.80 |
| Munt la Schera Tunnel | ~ CHF 15 – CHF 30+ |
| Lötschberg Car Train | ~ CHF 35 – CHF 50+ |
| Vereina Car Train | ~ CHF 35 – CHF 50+ |
